Patient-transport & Mobility

Patient transport is an integral component of the care process, yet, it remains a risky and time-consuming proposition. Hospitals today are continually looking for ways to improve clinical workflow and enhance the care process during transport to ensure a seamless and controlled care for the patient.

At Dräger, we develop transport solutions that address clinical and practical needs while putting the patient in focus. Our transport solutions address the many challenges that health providers face on a daily basis and can provide continuous care every step of the way.

Neonates

Transporting neonates remains one of the greatest challenges given the fragile state of the patients. Providing a stable microenvironment that works continually to create an ideal mix of oxygen, temperature, and humidity to prevent cold stress is the basis of our warming therapy approach. Adding high-performance ventilation and a monitoring system makes it a fully featured transport solution.

Our Infinity monitors can provide seamless wired-to-wireless networking, so surveillance can be continuous. There’s no disconnection or reconnection of leads. No gaps in monitoring. As a result, all parameters that were monitored at the bedside can continue to be monitored during transport.
